Trump says Biden looks ‘too white’ at 2024 debate, claims ‘something happened’ video

President of the United States Donald Trump has revisited his contentious 2024 presidential debate with former President Joe Biden, saying Biden looked unusually pale in the moments before the event.

In a video shared by Clash Report on X, Trump recalled his reaction when he first saw Biden on stage during the June 2024 debate in Atlanta.

“First of all, they introduced him first, which is very unusual,” Trump said in the video. “When I went up there, I looked at him and said, ‘He’s so white.'” You know, that was a big thing. I said, ‘What’s wrong with him?’ ‘”

Trump later said Biden’s performance that night felt a little “weird,” which was widely criticized by politicians and the media at the time.

“This was not a good debate performance,” Trump said. “I think maybe I was a factor in his poor debate. I don’t know. Something happened. Yeah, something happened. It was weird.”

Trump comments after criticizing Jill Biden

Trump’s latest remarks came shortly after he spoke. Mocking former first lady Jill Biden Regarding comments she made about Biden’s health during the debate.

Trump criticized Jill Biden in a Truth Society post after excerpts from her upcoming memoir and a CBS News interview drew attention. Jill Biden said in an interview with CBS that she was worried her husband might be suffering from serious health issues while watching the debate.

“When I looked at it, I thought, ‘Oh my God, he’s having a stroke,'” she said.

Jill Biden also wondered whether Biden was “short-circuited” or “drugged” during his debate performance, according to excerpts from his memoir “Viewed from the East Wing: A Memoir” published by The Atlantic.

Trump seized on the comments in his Truth Society post, arguing that his own debate performance may have contributed to Biden getting into trouble on stage.

“The only thing she didn’t mention was how good I was doing before he almost completely broke down,” Trump wrote.

Debate fallout changes course of 2024 election

Biden’s performance in the June 2024 debate became a major turning point in the presidential campaign, exacerbating concerns among Democrats about his age and fitness for public office.

Weeks later, Biden ended his re-election bid and endorsed then-Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic candidate.

Trump eventually defeated Harris in the 2024 election and returned to the White House.
