In a recent post on social media titled “Planning to return to India, US job market took a toll on me”, the techie explained that they came to the US four years ago and found a job soon after graduation but had to leave the position due to funding challenges and immigration issues. As the post gained traction, users on social media stressed that returning to India would help them escape ongoing visa-related stress.

“This visa stress is really the worst for the mind and body. You need to stay mentally strong. These technologies are changing faster than we can keep up. I would say get rid of this stress and if you have a support system back home, start your career there,” one person said.

“I’m in a somewhat similar situation, OP. I had a job but missed my first H1B attempt because my company said they wouldn’t sponsor it. I need to find a new job ASAP so I don’t miss the next lottery,” another commented.

“You’re getting a call in India, that’s a good sign. Move back and live happily without the constant stress of a visa,” said a third user.
