New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit ShahA reply from a supporter awaiting his roadshow for the West Bengal polls went viral on social media on Thursday, drawing attention to an exchange on Instagram.Shah shared a video of the sunset on Instagram with the caption lashing out at the ruling TMC: “The sun has set on TMC’s corruption and gangsterism.”Commenting on his post, a user urged him to reach the road show in North 24 Parganas Central Assembly constituency as soon as possible and said that the supporters of the BJP were already waiting in the hot weather.“Come on, Amitji…we will record the roadshow in the summer (come on, Amitji…) We’ve been standing in the heat for so long for your roadshow),” the user wrote.Shah replied: “Sorry for the delay. Will be there in 10 minutes.”

Shah later held a road show for BJP candidate Anindya Raju Banerjee, whose rival is Trinamool Congress Madhhamgram MLA Rathin Ghosh, reported ANI.Sharing a video of the event onMeanwhile, voting in the first phase of the West Bengal assembly elections ended at 6 pm on Thursday with a voter turnout of 91.83 per cent. election committee. The second phase of voting is scheduled for April 29.
