Woman claims one of her sons is a fighter pilot

The woman claimed in X’s post that she had not received any news from her son or his work unit and that she was “worried”.

“Please pray for the two downed F-15 pilots tonight. One of my sons is a fighter pilot and I still have not heard anything from him or his unit. My heart is filled with concern. Please pray for all the pilots and their families,” she wrote.

Iran reacts

In response to her post, Iran warned that her sons were “in greater danger” under US President Donald Trump’s administration than in detention in Iran.

The Iranian Embassy in South Africa has strengthened communication and referred to Iran’s historical treatment of prisoners of war. “In Iran, the rights of prisoners of war were defined long before the establishment of so-called humanitarian law. We will not treat prisoners of war like your barbaric allies, the Zionists. We have Iranian civilization. We are not living in the Stone Age like the United States,” it said.

Military pilots said the missing F-15 crew may try to elude the Iranian military for as long as possible in the hope that U.S. Special Forces arriving by helicopter can assist in rescuing them.

The exact circumstances surrounding the downing of the F-15 remain unclear. But Iran claimed responsibility for its destruction. The U.S. military has not made any public statements, and President Donald Trump said on Friday that the incident would not hinder ongoing efforts to negotiate a peace deal with Iran.
