Another person shared the ANHS news, in which read “Aliso Niguel High School has been placed on lockdown due to police activity in the school zone. The campus is safe and students are safe. Once the Sheriff’s Department concludes the activity, the school will return to normal.” The Orange County Sheriff’s Department, which has jurisdiction over Aliso Niguel High School, has not officially commented on the incident.

One person shared a photo, with the description reading: “I heard a helicopter keep circling over my house, so I looked out my bedroom window and saw a dozen Orange County Sheriff’s Department vehicles in front of Aliso Niguel High School and an officer on a lawnmower truck with a long gun pointed at the Wolverine in Deerhurst.”
