The charges announced by British prosecutors significantly expand the case against the social media influencers, who have consistently denied all charges.
Officials said the search warrant remains sealed. The exact legal basis for the U.S. submission has not been made public. A source familiar with the matter told The Guardian that the arrests followed an extradition request from the UK.

New charges against Andrew, Tristan Tate
The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) announced new charges against the brothers after receiving more evidence from Bedfordshire Police.
Andrew Tate, 39, now faces seven further rape charges, three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation, three counts of assault causing actual bodily harm and a further 19 offenses relating to indecent images of children and extreme pornography. Prosecutors said the alleged crimes occurred between July 2010 and August 2017.
Tristan Tate, 38, faces one count of sexual assault, two counts of rape and three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking of persons for sexual exploitation in the same investigation. The CPS said the latest evidence brought the total number of victims in the case to seven.
The brothers already face another UK criminal case. Andrew Tate has been charged with 10 offenses including rape, human trafficking and controlling prostitution for profit, involving three alleged victims. Tristan Tate faces 11 charges related to an alleged victim. Both men deny any wrongdoing.

Will the Tate brothers be extradited to the UK?
The arrests do not automatically mean Andrew and Tristan Tate will be transferred to the UK.
Under US law, a federal court must first determine whether the UK’s extradition request meets the requirements of the US-UK extradition treaty. The brothers will have an opportunity to challenge the request through the U.S. court system. If the court grants extradition, the final decision is usually made by the U.S. Secretary of State.
The British proceedings are also separate from the Romanian brothers’ criminal case. Romanian prosecutors charged two people with human trafficking, rape and forming an organized crime group after arresting them in 2022.
Earlier this year, a British High Court judge rejected the brothers’ attempts to obtain the identity of the woman who had accused them in the British case.
