“He picked me up and threw me on the couch,” the 34-year-old mother said, echoing the allegations in her lawsuit. “He’s on top of me now.”
He then allegedly tried to force her to kiss him, but she refused him, she said. “I put my hands up to cover my mouth and he tried to kiss me on the mouth,” she claimed, adding that she turned her head away from his lips.
That’s when Sherbring made the comment about “mixed-race babies,” the lawsuit says.
The officer said she was able to escape by kicking him “in the groin” and yelling, “Get out!” according to court documents.

The lawsuit also alleges that after she reported the alleged sexual assault, Scheublin retaliated by putting her on overtime starting at 3 a.m. and changing work partners.
The Washington Post reported that Sherbring filed for retirement last month, a process that could take months and was suspended on Tuesday, according to an internal NYPD order.
His attorney, Oliver Storch, said he was retiring “in order to focus on resolving the injurious and false allegations in the lawsuit.”
