Who is Daniel Davis? Missing Chicago man found dead four months later; gruesome details emerge

Blue Island City Administrator Thomas Wogan and the Cook County Sheriff’s Department said the body was found around 3 p.m. Monday. On Tuesday, it was identified as Davis’s. Daughter Wendy Davis, 59, also confirmed the body had been found.

Davis was last seen on Nov. 25 leaving a building at 115 Bourbon Street in Merrionette Park. As of now, no suspects have been identified or named in the disappearance.

November 25th: He was last seen leaving the nightclub around 1:15 a.m. local time. A community officer saw him walking on the road and honked his horn to let him go.

November 26: Found by surveillance on Blue Island. Davis was walking across the yard, tripped over a sign, had problems with his left leg and appeared disoriented.

November 2025 to March 9, 2026: Chicago police led the investigation into Davis. It focused on surveillance footage from the crash, Bourbon Street and St. Donatus Church in Blue Island. In addition, volunteers and sniffer dogs also conducted searches.

After the Nov. 26 video, authorities issued a Silver Alert and offered a reward for information leading to the Daniel Davis sighting. But this did not lead to any concrete results.

March 9: The body was found on Blue Island. Authorities said the investigation is ongoing.
