Aubrie Greene, a 17-year-old Lemonade CEO richmond District, has unfortunately passed away.
Greene has been the driving force behind “Breezzy’s Lemonade” for years. 8News interviewed the young entrepreneur in 2020, when he was only 11 years old. What started with a $19.99 lemon juicer grew into a thriving business.
Tuesday, July 14th, richmond Barbecue restaurant Pig & Brew, in partnership with Breezzy’s Lemonade, expressed its condolences on Greene’s passing on Facebook.

Pig & Brew said in a statement green As a “sparkly” person.
“At just 17 years old, he created something that inspired so many,” the statement said. “His vision, work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit had a lasting impact on our community, and his legacy will continue in the lives of the people he touched. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, loved ones and the entire Breezy’s Lemonade team during this unimaginable time.”
Aubrey Green’s mother releases statement
Green’s mother, Ceydria McCray, did not reveal the cause of Green’s death but said she was still coming to terms with the tragedy.
“This kid who dared to be different, dreamed bigger than his years and made all roads clear,” she told 8News. “The life of the party and the sunshine of our family.”
What we know about Aubrie Greene’s business
Green started his own lemonade business at the age of 11 and successfully put his homemade product on supermarket shelves. In a 2020 interview with WRIC ABC 8News, Green’s mentor attributed his achievements to his upbringing autism.
“It shows that when you find something you like, you do it. Using his mind, he found something he liked and he was creating something,” the mentor shared with the news channel.
Details of Green’s cause of death have not been released.
