“What!”: Doctor’s priceless reaction when nurse wife hands him student debt check

He then read the note written by Miki inside the card. It read: “To my dear husband, I can’t believe the last 6 years in Seattle have just gone by! It’s hard to fully remember every long day, 24 hour shift, 36 hour call, presentation, note taking, and hours spent watching surgeries on YouTube.”

Kevin starts giggling as he reads the note, and the video continues with a glimpse into his work life, showing off his tireless work.

Mickey’s note continued, “Typically, this kind of experience would make anyone stronger… You remained kind, patient, and loving. I never saw you upset. You were woken up in the middle of the night, but you still cared so deeply about your patients. I can’t even begin to count how many lives you touched and saved.”

The note also said that despite having little time outside of work, he valued spending time with Miki and her family, even working with her to create videos for social media.
