The impact occurred near the Dung Gate, one of the main entrances to the Old City, shortly before the start of the Sabbath. The huge explosion disrupted residents and security forces moved in to clear the area and check for more debris. The strike took place hours after Eid prayers, with access to major religious sites remaining restricted due to ongoing security concerns.
