According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), weather conditions in the UAE will change significantly next week, with light rain, strong winds and rough sea conditions expected. Weather conditions were generally good on Friday, providing a brief period of stability before the atmosphere became more lively.Authorities advise residents to remain cautious, especially those heading outdoors or planning marine activities, as wind speeds are expected to increase and visibility may be affected in some areas.
According to NCM forecast, the weather across the UAE will gradually turn to sunny to cloudy early next week, with light rain possible in some areas. These changes are caused by regional atmospheric instability, which is expected to intensify in the coming days.Winds may increase significantly, becoming moderate to gale force and sometimes gusty, especially along coasts and open areas. These winds can bring dust and sand, reducing horizontal visibility, especially during the day.Forecasters say that while rainfall will remain light and intermittent, the combination of clouds, wind and dust will be markedly different from the calm conditions of recent days.
Stronger winds will particularly affect sea conditions. NCM warned that sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman are expected to become very rough at times, especially during periods of strong winds.Fishermen, boat operators and beachgoers are urged to remain cautious and stay informed of official advice. Marine activity may be affected, and small vessels in particular may face severe challenges if winds increase as forecast.
Ahead of the shift, the UAE is experiencing sunny to partly cloudy weather, with relatively stable weather conditions in most areas. Temperatures in early April remain normal, with warm days and mild evenings. However, this calm phase is expected to be short-lived. Meteorologists note that the incoming weather system will gradually change weather conditions, bringing cooler winds, clouds and occasional rain as the week progresses.
The National Weather Center recommends residents regularly monitor updated conditions and follow safety guidelines, especially as weather conditions can change rapidly. Reduced visibility caused by dust and strong winds may affect driving conditions on highways and open roads.Authorities have not issued severe weather warnings at this stage, but the changing forecast shows unsettled weather and it is important for residents to be prepared.
