The principles of Dravidian thought and the principles of Islam are basically the same,” news agency ANI quoted him as saying. Stalin Jr., who happens to be the son of Chief Minister Stalin, said that no “conspiracy” can damage the relationship between the DMK and the Muslim community.

“As long as brotherhood and unity exist, no matter how many attempts or conspiracies occur, no one can break the relationship between the DMK and the Muslim community,” DMK heir apparent Stalin said.Stalin, who was speaking at an Eid event of the DMK Minority Welfare Rights Organization in the poll-bound state, highlighted the work done by Chief Minister MK Stalin, including the foundation stone laying of the Tamil Nadu Haj House at a cost of Rs 39 crore. He also targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which is trying to make inroads in Tamil Nadu, saying the party “spreads hatred against minorities on a daily basis” which helps its growth.“A BJP chief minister himself has released a video against Muslims. I don’t need to explain to you what is happening with the BJP and others. The United Bharatiya Janata Party government is spreading hatred against minorities every day. It is through this hate campaign that the BJP is growing,” Stalin said in a veiled attack on Assam Chief Minister Himanta Sarma. He further said: “No matter how hard the BJP tries, no matter how much trouble they create, the DMK will always stand firmly with you as your protector”.
