Spotify not working? Streaming giant updates issues as outage leaves users frustrated: ‘First it was Xbox, now it’s this’
Spotify is experiencing an outage affecting thousands of users across the United States. Many users have reported issues such as page failure to load and error messages including “Something went wrong” and “Page is unavailable.”

Reports began to surge around 3pm ET on Monday, and as of 4pm ET, the platform had logged more than 4,000 user reports, DownDetector reported.
Spotify acknowledged the outage on X, writing: “We are now aware of some issues with our pages and are checking them!”
The company has not yet provided an estimated timetable for resolving the issue.
Spotify outage leaves users frustrated
Spotify’s outage comes as Xbox users continue to grapple with service issues that have lasted more than 15 hours. Many users took to X (formerly Twitter) to vent their frustrations about the ongoing outages.
“It doesn’t work on any of my devices. It doesn’t work on my Xbox, my laptop, or my phone,” one user wrote.
Another reported, “Can’t log in to Spotify Creators. Keep getting the ‘You don’t have permission to access this show’ message.”
A third user asked: “Has anyone else had issues with Spotify other than the web player? Like I can play music on my phone but not on my computer, which is really annoying.”
One frustrated user wrote: “I’m really sad that I can’t listen to my beautiful music right now and I will never forgive you.”
Another shared: “Does anyone know how to fix this? Spotify won’t play now. I’ve cleared the entire browser cache, the entire history, but it’s still showing me this. On my phone it works fine, but on PC I’m having this issue.”
