Saudi Arabia and Egypt have signed an agreement to waive short-stay visa requirements for official passport holders, a move aimed at facilitating travel and strengthening cooperation between the two countries.The agreement was signed in Riyadh by Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Dr. Badr Abdulati. It applies to holders of diplomatic, special and service passports issued by the two governments.Under the new arrangements, eligible travelers will be able to move between Saudi Arabia and Egypt without needing to obtain a short-stay visa, simplifying the procedures for official visits and engagements.
