The widely circulated video shows a young woman believed to be Contarino standing outside a 7-Eleven on the Boulder Expressway in Las Vegas. Instagram creator @epicDamianpov approached her. He often shares videos of himself approaching women in town.
The video, shot using Meta smart glasses, shows the man asking the woman: “Sorry, I saw you were pretty and I was wondering if I could get your phone number?”
The woman smiled politely and said, “I have a boyfriend.”
“Oh, okay. Are you waiting for him, or…?” he asked.
“No, I just wanted to have a cigarette and go inside,” she replied.
The man finally left. He uploaded the video to Instagram with the caption: “Trying to pick up girls.”
The video was uploaded on June 28. However, Real Vegas Locals, a social media page that has been promoting Contarino’s case, said it obtained the file from its creator and reviewed its metadata. It was revealed that the video was actually recorded at 3:46 pm local time on June 17.
Content creator @epicDamianpov had nothing to do with her disappearance.

Sally Grace Contarino is missing
Contarino initially stayed in touch with his family throughout the trip. However, they have not heard from her since Saturday, June 20. Her family later reported her missing, according to Red Rock Search & Rescue. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
Contarino was due to return to Australia on Sunday, June 21, but ultimately failed to do so.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has opened a case and is asking the public for help. All hospitals in the region have been told to check missing persons registers and notify police.
Contarino reportedly has brown hair and brown eyes. She booked a flight from Las Vegas to Los Angeleswhere she planned to board her flight. She never scanned her bus ticket and didn’t show up for her flight, The Sun reported.
According to KSNV, Contarino was last seen near Mount Charleston, about 35 to 45 miles northwest of the Las Vegas Strip.
Surveillance video from Timbers Bar & Grill in Las Vegas also showed Contarino walking on the street the day before he disappeared, The Sun reported. She left the restaurant around 10:30 pm local time on June 19. She wore dark shorts and a tank top, paired with black and white Converse shoes.
