Facebook user Shannon Troncoso shared an update she said she got from her daughter.
“About 20 minutes ago, I heard from my daughter that two people had been shot on Main Street near the University of Delaware campus. Although elsewhere there’s reports that potentially 6 were shot at UD. I’m also seeing reports tonight of people being shot in Ellendale,” Shannon wrote on Facebook. “I don’t have all the details yet, and obviously these are still developing situations, but enough is enough. These are our communities. These are places where our kids go to school, where families live, work, eat, and walk around every day. It’s time we get things under control. Whatever we are doing right now is not enough.”
