There is no preparation for the Phone 4a series to be the main smartphone version in 2026 after the company decided not to launch a flagship model this year. The Nothing Phone 4a and Phone 4a Pro are expected to be launched at the 2026 Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona in early March.

Nothing Phone 4a series: Color options (teaser)
Although Nothing has yet to reveal full details about the new phone, the company has already started teasing the launch by highlighting new color options. Nothing posted an image on its official X account showing the symbol “(a)” in five colors: blue, yellow, pink, white and black. The post has a short caption that reads “soon,” which signals the start of a promotion for the Phone 4a series.
The teaser suggests that the upcoming phone will be available in multiple color options. It’s unclear whether the image also indicates the launch of Nothing Headphones (a). Earlier reports claimed that the earphones will be available in white, black, pink, and yellow color options. If the report is true, the blue shade shown in the teaser may still be exclusive to the Phone 4a models, which may help differentiate these devices from the audio product line.

Nothing Phone 4a series: Price (expected)
The leak also provides early hints about pricing. The Nothing Phone 4a is expected to start at around $475 (roughly Rs. 43,072), while the Phone 4a Pro is likely to be priced close to $540. In India, Phone 4a may enter the market at a price below Rs. 40,000 while the Pro version can be had for less than Rs. 50,000.

Nothing Phone 4a: Specs and features (expected)
Nothing Phone 4a and 4a Pro are expected to be powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. Both models of displays can use flat OLED panels with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The Phone 4a Pro may also have an IP65 rating, which improves dust and water resistance.
The battery size is expected to be between 5,100mAh and 5,200mAh, and the charging speed is expected to remain at 50W. This will mark a slight increase from the 5,000mAh battery used in the Phone 3a series. Camera leaks suggest that the Phone 4a series will feature a 50MP triple camera setup.

Recent reports also claim that the Phone 4a series may introduce a new design, raising questions about the future of Nothing’s transparent back style. With no flagship phone planned for 2026, the Phone 4a series will play a key role in the company’s smartphone strategy. An official launch is expected around March 5 at MWC 2026, and final specifications, pricing and design details may not be confirmed then.
