Nancy Guthrie case: Savannah Guthrie spotted in New York with husband Michael Feldman, looking grim

Photos posted by TMZ showed the reporter stepping out in casual clothes and sunglasses as the search for her 84-year-old mother entered its sixth week.

Authorities believe Nancy Guthrie was kidnapped in the early hours of February 1 from her home in the Catalina Foothills near Tucson, Arizona. Investigators said evidence at the residence suggested she did not leave voluntarily and foul play is suspected.

Nancy GuthrieSavannah’s disappearance forced Savannah to give up several major broadcasting responsibilities, including plans to cover the 2026 Winter Olympics, to assist in the search for her mother.

Savannah was seen with her husband, Michael Feldman, and son, Charles, going through an emotionally difficult time for Guthrie, who had given up multiple professional commitments to focus on the investigation and supporting his family.

According to TMZ , Savannah returned to the Today studio last Thursday for a brief but emotional visit, and even through the trauma, she was still smiling.

Authorities discovered potential evidence, including gloves, a backpack and security footage from a neighboring home; however, detectives have not publicly released their contact information to Nancy Guthrie.

Speculation intensified after a body was found near a Phoenix canal, but police later confirmed it was not related to the Guthrie case.
