Mabton Colwash Fire evacuation map: Wildfire spreads in Yakima County; Glade Road on alert
Update: The Colwash Fire, which broke out in Yakima County on Saturday morning, has rapidly grown to 4,000 acres, according to Watch Duty. Evacuation warnings have been issued as the wildfire continues to spread.

A Level 3 “GO NOW” evacuation order is currently in effect for areas south of Highway 22 and south of Glade Road. Residents in the affected areas are being urged to leave immediately.
Update: According to Watch Duty, the Colwash Fire has crossed Glade Road and is now about one mile east, near the power lines. A second-alarm response has been requested to help protect nearby structures. The fire has burned more than 700 acres in Yakima County. See the map here.

Evacuation map and update
A Level 3 “Go Now” evacuation order is in effect south of Highway 22, from the south side of Glade Road to the county line. A Level 2 “Be Ready” alert is in place north of Highway 22 in the Mabton area.
The evacuation information was issued by the Yakima Valley Office of Emergency Management through the Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS) and shared on Facebook.
