Jones Fire: Fire breaks out near Wickenburg, check maps and evacuation updates; shocking video surfaces

Some evacuees said it was scary that the hottest days of the year were yet to come. Her husband, Erykah Santana, and their two dogs said they are among Wickenburg residents who may not be able to return home due to evacuation orders.
“We’ll have to wait and see. We might go to the city and stay with family,” Santana said.

“I’m a little nervous,” she said. “We’re in a very dry area and people aren’t always careful with what they do, which worries me because it’s so easy to start a fire.”
American Red Cross officials said a shelter has been set up at Wickenburg High School.
