Tom Pritzker, the billionaire chairman of global hospitality giant Hyatt Hotels Corporation, announced that he will resign from the company’s board of directors and leadership positions on February 16.
The news comes as the release of new Epstein dossier links Pritzker to the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Pritzker said in a statement that he deeply regretted his past experiences and that his resignation was part of “good stewardship” to safeguard the company’s reputation.
“I used poor judgment in staying in contact with them and there’s no reason not to distance myself from them as quickly as possible,” he said.
