New Delhi: Virat Kohli Continuing to rewrite IPL history, he added yet another milestone to his illustrious career in the IPL 2026 clash between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Titans at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Kohli has become the first batsman to hit 800 fours in the tournament and he has also reached another elite milestone – hitting 300 sixes in the IPL. The RCB stalwart has hit 303 sixes and became the third player in the history of the league to cross the 300-mark.For this, Kohli joins an exclusive club that has two of the most destructive batsmen in the league in Chris Gayle and Rohit Sharma. Gayle, who has played for teams such as Kolkata Knight Riders, Kings XI Punjab (formerly Kings XI Punjab) and RCB, remains at the top of the list with 357 sixes in 142 games. He is followed by former Deccan Chargers and Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma, who hit 310 sixes in 276 games. Kohli has been synonymous with RCB since 2008 and has now hit 303 sixes in 274 games alongside these giants, besides becoming the all-time leading run-scorer in IPL with 8,989 runs. While these three make up the 300-plus batsman club, several other big names also figure prominently in the six-bat rankings. MS Dhoni, who hit 264 sixes with the Chennai Super Kings and Rising Pune Supergiant, is known for his excellent finishing ability.
