Haltom City: Shooting reported at Birdville ISD property on Broadway Avenue; visuals show heavy police presence
one shooting According to reports, Haltom City Texas on Friday. According to scanner reports, the shooting happened in the 6200 block of Broadway Avenue. According to initial reports, the shooting occurred in a Birdville ISD parking lot or School District property.
Scanner reports showed multiple injuries and at least one death, and warned of a heavy police presence in the coming hours.
Photos from the scene showed multiple police cars and even a fire truck at the scene.
Earlier updates include read “The City of Haltom Police Department and other agencies are investigating a shooting that occurred in the 6200 block of Broadway Avenue in which multiple people were injured. Expect a lot of activity in the area. Stay tuned for more details.”
The Halton Police Service has not officially commented on the matter. Another scanner report indicated “Three people reported falling. One victim reported to be the shooter.”
Houlton shooting: People react to reports
Several people were reacting to reports of a shooting in Houlton. “We heard all the police, ambulances and fire trucks out there were watching them,” one person commented on Facebook.

Another asked if this involved students. However, this aspect is currently unclear.
Another commented: “God please keep these police officers safe, please let them go home to their families there, please keep everyone safe, God send your angels to protect the innocent, hold those who are truly at fault accountable for these actions, forgive our enemies and lead us on the right path to restore justice and peace as God sees fit. Amen.” Another commented: “I live about 6 blocks away and you can still hear the helicopters at 5:38pm.”
One person also shared a recording of a TV clip about the incident. A U-Haul truck was also seen where the authority vehicle was. The ticker shows the incident took place at Birdwell Stadium.
The person can be heard saying police are not looking for suspects in the case and scanner reports indicate the shooter was the person who died in the incident.
