Scanner reports showed multiple injuries and at least one death, and warned of a heavy police presence in the coming hours.
Photos from the scene showed multiple police cars and even a fire truck at the scene.

The Halton Police Service has not officially commented on the matter. Another scanner report indicated “Three people reported falling. One victim reported to be the shooter.”
Houlton shooting: People react to reports
Several people were reacting to reports of a shooting in Houlton. “We heard all the police, ambulances and fire trucks out there were watching them,” one person commented on Facebook.

One person also shared a recording of a TV clip about the incident. A U-Haul truck was also seen where the authority vehicle was. The ticker shows the incident took place at Birdwell Stadium.
The person can be heard saying police are not looking for suspects in the case and scanner reports indicate the shooter was the person who died in the incident.
