chennai: DMK Mouthpiece Murasoli attacked on Saturday congress and criticized the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi‘Lack of gratitude’ after his party quit DMK-led alliance and joined hands with TVK tamil nadu.In his editorial, Murasooli recalled the DMK’s relationship with the Congress since 2018, when former Prime Minister Stalin first announced Rahul as the prime ministerial candidate. “Is Rahul grateful for this gesture?” DMK asked.“The seeds of the Hindu bloc have been sown in Tamil Nadu. It was Stalin who initiated the effort to build a national opposition alliance against the BJP ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. “BJP cannot get 370 or 400 seats due to the Hindu Bloc,” the DMK said. “Even if former prime ministers like K Chandrashekar Rao and Mamata Banerjee did not want the Congress to join the Bloc, Stalin still insisted that the Congress should be part of the Bloc,” the editorial said. The editorial stated that Congress members, including Praveen Chakravarty, who is close to Rahul, have repeatedly targeted the DMK government and its “Dravidian model” of governance. “The DMK government is not allowed to function peacefully and this is happening with the knowledge of Rahul,” the statement said.
