A company executive who went viral after Coldplay’s “kissing scene” says she is no longer working with the band and claims frontman Chris Martin never contacted her after the incident.Kristin Cabot tells TMZ that she has no interest in attending another Coldplay concert and is hoping for some form of contact with the singer after the episode that made her an internet sensation. When reporter Colin Drummond asked if she would be welcome to move in, Cabot said: “That would be great.”“No. Never!” she added when asked if Martin had contacted her.The 53-year-old also made it clear that her relationship with the band was over. “No, I’m ready,” she said.Last year, Cabot was seen hugging her boss, then-CEO of tech company Astronomer, Andy Byron at a Coldplay concert. The moment was captured on the stadium’s kissing camera and the pair appeared to pull apart and hide their faces as they realized they were on screen, in a moment that quickly went viral.Cabot has since refuted that claim. In a recent interview with Oprah, she said she and Byron were both separated from their spouses at the time and suggested the situation was misunderstood. She also said her husband also attended the concert.“At the end of the day, it would have been better if I could have bumped into him,” she said, adding that the experience had a serious impact on her personal life.“For me and my family, what happened was not good,” Cabot said. “I feel like by staying silent, I’m kind of accepting what’s going on.”In an earlier interview with The New York Times, she described herself as feeling “very embarrassed and scared.”Despite the backlash, Cabot continued to speak out about the incident. She recently appeared at the PRWeek Crisis Communications Conference in Washington, D.C., where she gave a talk titled “Kristin Cabot: Taking Back the Narrative.”Her former boss, Andy Byron, has stayed out of the public eye and has not commented since the virus went viral.Cabot also criticized another “The Astronomer” ad featuring Hollywood stars Gwyneth Paltrow and Ryan Reynolds, which referenced the incident in a humorous way. She told Oprah she was unhappy with the campaign.
