Boy, 14, among three teenagers arrested after 21-year-old man was killed in Essex
Three teenagers, including a 14-year-old boy, have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 21-year-old man died in a park in Chelmsford, Essex.Emergency services were called to Central Park at around 7pm on Friday following reports of a serious incident. When police arrived, they found the victim seriously injured.Despite the efforts of paramedics, the 21-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Essex Police said an immediate investigation led to an address in Auckland Close, Chelmsford, where the three suspects were arrested a short time later.The suspects, aged 14, 17 and 18, remain in custody for questioning.The victim’s family have been notified and are being supported by specially trained officers.
Detectives appeal for information
Senior investigating officer Inspector Lydia George called the incident “deeply sad” and said investigators were focusing on establishing the circumstances of the man’s death.She said: “A family is grieving and our thoughts are with them at this extremely difficult time.”Police confirmed they were not currently looking for anyone else in connection with the incident and said there was no ongoing risk to the public.
