Boise, Idaho fire map: Large brush fire near Claremont Avenue spreads across acres; check map, visuals
one wildfire An outbreak broke out Monday afternoon in the area of Crestline Trail and Claremont Drive in Boise, Ada County, Idaho. On duty every shiftcovering an area of more than 100 acres.

Despite the massive fire spread in the Claremont Avenue area, no evacuations have been ordered. The fire is spreading up the mountain, burning brush and vegetation. There are no known structural threats.
Meanwhile, multiple Ada County Fire Department fire engines were responding to the incident.

Although located off Route 48 in Ada County, it is located within the prairie along the Hulls Gluch Preserve, adjacent to the Boise Highlands. It is located north of the military reserve along Lilac Road in North Mountain.

Claremont fire visuals: White smoke seen
Video of the fire emerged thanks to social media posts from residents and video shared by the Nevada Seismological Laboratory at the University of Nevada, Reno. Residents reported seeing white smoke coming from the area.
