Angola, Hamilton tornado reports spark fear among Indiana residents; scary video emerges as sirens sound

One resident also asked about the sirens going off. “Where is the tornado that triggered the warning?” one netizen asked. ask on the local page. Some people also shared horrific visuals.
Tornadoes near Angola, Hamilton: Terrifying visuals from Indiana
One person posted a video advising people to seek asylum. They pointed out that the photo was taken in Ashley, Indiana.
Ashley is about 10 miles from Angola. Someone else shared a photo of a tornado forming as seen from Hamilton.
A clip was also shared on X.
“Drone footage of Angola Indiana tornado warning storm,” they noted. A video purportedly from Hamilton was also shared.
“A tornado on the ground in Hamilton, Indiana, moving east at 34 mph, causing damage. Debris observed. Shelter immediately in Hamilton, Indiana and Eaton, Ohio!” the post claimed, but the damage has not been confirmed.
Another resident posted a photo of the sky after the tornado.
“We took shelter around 9. A tornado was spotted just south of Hamilton in Angola. View of the sky afterwards,” they wrote on Facebook. Other clips and photos show clouds forming in Indiana skies during a tornado warning.
“Attention!! Storm moving east at 70 degrees! Tornadoes are trying to form. The clouds are doing very weird things!!” one person shared Clip set wrote. Another person posted a photo from Waterloo, Indiana, an area about 14.6 miles from Angola.
“Yes…tornado sirens are going off in Valleloo as well. Don’t think we face any immediate threat, but thankfully everyone is staying alert this week. It’s making for some interesting cloud formations! Take a look…I think the first one shows the immediate vicinity of the tornado in the Hamilton area. Lots of lightning!” they wrote.
Angola, Hamilton tornado reports: Reactions pour in
Some people reacted to reports of a tornado sighting near Angola, Indiana. “Staying on 200 East, between Hamilton and Lake Pleasant. Dark, no wind or rain,” one person said. Another added: “Everyone is saying Hamilton, we are in Hamilton, it’s dark here but the storm has passed.”
Another chimed in: “We live in Lake Pleasant but didn’t see or hear the tornado. The sirens went off about 10 minutes ago. But the rain stopped and it’s really calm now.”
Meanwhile, one person clarified that the tornado was not spotted in Hamilton, but close to that location, which is why the sirens were sounded.
