After a viral video led many to believe they spotted the late Jeffrey Epstein’s likeness on the highway, a Florida man has finally cleared up the confusion. The clip shows a man wearing sunglasses and a white hat driving a convertible in South Florida. The news spread quickly online with the headline “Epstein in South Florida,” sparking widespread speculation.As the video racked up millions of views, people on social media began discussing the similarities. Some joked, while others seriously questioned who this man was. Pete also explained what exactly happened that day. He said he was driving along Interstate 95 to play tennis when someone randomly filmed him. “My video went viral because someone randomly filmed me while I was driving on Interstate 95,” he added.Pete, a former Division I tennis player and gold medalist, said he was caught off guard by the sudden attention. Shortly after the video went viral, his phone started “exploding.” He also said the situation has started to affect his daily life as strangers now recognize him in public and ask for photos.He shared that during a recent visit to a restaurant, people recognized him from the video and asked for a photo. Similar things happened in bars. Despite the confusion and concern, Pete said he treated it all with a good sense of humor.The viral moment comes as claims about Epstein resurface online, including from Prince Andrew’s ex-girlfriend Victoria Hervey, who told LBC radio she believed Epstein may still be alive and possibly in Israel. Separately, an image claiming that Epstein was in Israel caused an uproar online, but was later revealed to be artificially generated, adding to the wave of speculation. .
