For more than five months, no suspects have been named in the case, and now self-proclaimed investigator Jonathan Lee Riches, or JLR, has filed new charges against Anne and Tommaso.
The pair have been subject to public speculation since it was revealed that Nancy had dined with Anne the night before she was reported missing. Tommaso then walked her home and they were the last two people to see Nancy Guthrie before she was taken away, according to reports. Former NewsNation reporter Ashley Banfield even claimed Tommaso could be considered a suspect, but the Pima County Sheriff’s Department (the lead investigator on the case) quickly shot down those rumors and clarified that no member of the Guthrie family was a suspect.

However, interest in Anne and Tommaso’s personal lives persists, with recent claims on social media that the couple is not at home – reportedly close to Nancy Guthrie’s Catalina Foothills home. JLR’s X post complements this statement. So says the self-proclaimed investigator.

JLR said he was told the “pool guys” had arrived at Annie and Tommaso’s residence because they had been gone for more than 60 days.
“I heard the pool keeper was at Annie and Tommaso’s house today as they have been gone for over 60 days. Where is Nancy Guthrie?” he wrote, referring to the “pool keeper” responsible for caring for Nancy Guthrie’s pool.
It’s worth noting that the Nancy Guthrie case has attracted widespread attention because the octogenarian is the mother of “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie. Since Anne and Tommaso also received a lot of attention, the couple saw the streamers in front of their home for the longest time.
Therefore, one may understand the need to leave for privacy. However, claims that Anne and Tommaso were not at home could not be independently confirmed.
