Scientists capture wild footage of rare Arctic squid and its eggs for first time

Scientists have documented a rare Arctic bobtail squid guarding its eggs in northeast Greenland. This marks the first confirmed in situ record of Rossia moelleri in its natural habitat. The observation took place in a remote Arctic fjord in the world’s largest national park. The discovery fills a gap in understanding Arctic cephalopods and their reproduction.
