TikTok user Sara Gilson was murdered by her estranged husband in a murder-suicide, Oklahoma Police confirmed.
On the evening of July 23, Owasso police were dispatched to a residence after receiving a 911 call. Sarah’s son witnessed the shooting and called 911.
Upon arrival, police found Gilson, also known as Sarah Duffy, and her estranged spouse, Jeremiah Shawn. Tamifluboth died of gunshot wounds.

According to investigators, Duffy shot Gilson before taking his own life. Additionally, the police report states that he violated a protection order issued to Gilson a month before the incident. Court documents show she previously sought another protective order against him in 2021, according to KJRH.

Gilson filed a protective order against Duffy last month, claiming he was seen kissing a child on a basketball team he coached. After the confrontation, Duffy threatened to kill himself and then ran away, the protection order states.
The mother of the child involved in the case also filed a protective order against Duffy, claiming that Duffy was compensating her daughter to keep quiet about her inappropriate messages and behavior.
“Domestic violence does not discriminate,” neighbor Brittany Fisher told Oklahoma News 2. “It’s not going to choose you because you have a nice home, socially or financially, it doesn’t matter.”
