Family questions lack of Snapchat content on Nolan Wells’ phone

The 18-year-old took a boat to Horn Island on Mississippi’s Gulf Coast on July 4 but did not return with friends, where his body was found two days later. Police have not yet said there is no evidence of foul play but the family is conducting their own investigation.

“Every time Nolan does a photo shoot, I see him, like when he goes, he’s having so much fun, like when he shoots a video… there’s absolutely nothing… even my sister said… ‘This is fishy,'” she said.

She added at the press conference in Harlem, “There are no saved photos. There are no photos from that day…” “Anyone who’s ever been around Nolan will tell you that at social gatherings, he’s taking videos, he’s taking pictures, and even when I was getting ready for bed he would come up to me and go, ‘Hey, mom, come on, take a picture of me,'” she explained. “You know, that’s Nolan, so that’s why we feel like things may have been deleted because there’s nothing in either of his accounts.”
