Robinson, 23, faces multiple charges, including aggravated murder, and prosecutors are seeking the death penalty. The hearing also marked the first time parents Erica and Charlie Kirk appeared in court with Robinson. The family issued a statement before proceedings began, thanking supporters while describing the past few months as an extremely traumatic time in their lives.
