Bartiromo interrupted fox business On Friday morning, the network broadcast a public apology to O’Leary, who in May falsely claimed that those who opposed his Utah data center were receiving financial support from China.

“Mr O’Leary has now corrected the record and explained that he has no evidence that Better Homes and Gardens Alliance UtahElevate Strategies, Josh Kanter, Tyler Knuth or Gabriel Finlayson are all funded by China or the Chinese Communist Party,” Bartiromo said.

“Fox News Media is also unaware of any evidence that they accept funding from, act at the direction of, or coordinate with Chinese interests in opposing Kevin O’Leary’s projects. fox news The outlet apologized for the error. ”

Bartiromo reveals O’Leary’s retraction

Bartiromo, who showed O’Leary’s retraction posted on social media on screen, clarified that he had “no evidence” linking those opposed to massive data center projects to China or that they received funding from China.

Unlike Bartiromo, O’Leary has not apologized for spreading inaccurate claims about opponents of the Utah initiative.

“Who would want us to stop building the electric grid? Who would want to prevent us from having the computing power to develop artificial intelligence? What adversary would want that? There’s only one. And that’s China,” O’Leary said during an appearance on Bartiromo’s show in May, wearing a “Utah National Security” hat.

Bartiromo wasn’t the only Fox personality to apologize on air after O’Leary retracted his remarks.

Big Weekend host Johnny Joy Jones issued a similar apology after O’Leary “corrected the record” regarding comments he made on the show on May 24. Additionally, Kayleigh McEnany apologized in the United States on Saturday.
