Hunter Biden publicly fights back against CNN anchor Jake Tapper She defended former first lady Jill Biden on Wednesday while accusing the reporter of being too focused on criticism of her and ignoring the controversy involving President Donald Trump’s family.
In X’s post, Hunter Biden wrote, “So let me get this straight,” before claiming Tapper was “focused on attacking my mom,” referring to Jill Biden.
“Jake Tapper is focused on attacking my mom,” Biden wrote, before listing a series of accusations involving Trump family members and their business or political activities.
He mentioned Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trumpwrote that they were “building a private island paradise on protected land in Albania.” He also mentioned Donald Trump Jr., claiming a link between a startup his fund backed and a “record $620 million Pentagon loan,” and Eric Trump’s ties to an Israeli drone company that became public.
Hunter Biden ended his post by dismissing repeated censorship of his own art, writing: “I know: ‘But where are your paintings, Hunter?’ Please.”

Jake Tapper’s comments come after he posted a review of Jill Biden’s recent memoir “View from the East Wing” on CNN’s social media platform.
Tapper took issue with parts of Jill Biden’s account of former President Joe Biden’s health and cognitive status while in office.

Tapper said Jill Biden’s claims were “highly unbelievable, if not completely false,” and described her as the “queen of omission,” The Wrap reported.
He also suggested that Jill Biden may not be willing to fully acknowledge the concerns raised publicly about Joe Biden’s condition, adding that she may have “contributed” to the situation.
As of the time of publication, neither CNN nor Jake Tapper has publicly responded to Hunter Biden’s comments.
Jill Biden’s Memoirs
Jill Biden has been promoting her memoir, “Viewed from the East Wing,” in which she reflects on her time as first lady and addresses concerns about Joe Biden’s fitness for public office during his presidency.
She has previously said she believes Joe Biden will not be able to serve another four-year term if he is re-elected in 2024.
She also reportedly described her much-discussed fears about his 2024 debate performance, saying she was concerned at the time that he was experiencing serious health issues.
