Ferrell filmed himself eating chicken nuggets while riding a high-speed roller coaster at a Six Flags park. The company responded by issuing a lifetime ban, citing safety concerns and violating park policies, Entertainment Weekly reported.

The influencer later opened up about the controversy, saying the stunt was for a “really fun challenge” and not to endanger anyone.

5 Things You Need to Know About the National Headlining Incident Involving Alan Ferrell and Six Flags

1. Ferrell eats chicken nuggets on a Six Flags roller coaster. Ferrell, who has 1.8 million YouTube subscribers and nearly 4 million TikTok followers, posted a video last week of himself stuffing a 10-piece box of chicken nuggets into his pants before boarding the Millennium Force roller coaster.

In the video, Ferrell can be seen opening the box and chewing on the gold nuggets as the ride descends from a height of 310 feet. Ferrell was then seen stuffing his nugget into his riding partner’s open sauce container before it rolled down his face.

In the end, he only ate seven gold nuggets while riding the 93-mile-per-hour roller coaster.

2. Six Flags policy. Park representatives told Entertainment Weekly that no loose items are allowed on any rides.

“Our ride safety policy strictly prohibits any loose items on rides, including food that could pose a choking hazard,” the representative said. “Safety is a partnership between our guests and the park, and guests must follow all written and verbal instructions to ensure a safe ride.”

He further emphasized, “A guest who violates our code of conduct is not welcome in our parks and will be subject to a lifetime ban from all Six Flags parks.”

3. Six Flags issued a lifetime ban from the beginning. Entertainment Weekly reported that Ferrell was initially banned from all Six Flags parks “for life” after the vlogger posted a video of himself violating security rules to steal a box of marijuana. A spokesperson for Cedar Point, a popular amusement park owned by Six Flags in Sandusky, Ohio, told the media, “Safety is the cornerstone of our business and we have a zero-tolerance approach to inappropriate and unsafe behavior.”

4. Cedar Point will file charges. Ferrell informed fox news On Thursday, he received a call from Cedar Point informing him they were considering filing charges.

“I was like, ‘Look, guys, I’m a huge fan of your park. I’ve been going there since I was a kid. I understand. We’ve solved this problem,” he said.

5. Ferrell acknowledged Park’s point while defending the challenge. Ferrell said he understands the park’s perspective. He acknowledged that parks need to be mindful of the safety of others.

“They just don’t want other people to get hurt on the trip,” he said.

However, still found the challenge “interesting” and said, “But for me personally, it’s a really fun challenge.”

He added, “I didn’t know eating 10 chicken nuggets on a roller coaster was going to make national headlines, but here we are.”
