“Tonight at 7 p.m., the Federal Declassification Task Force will hold an emergency press conference to address CIA individuals whose actions appear to be in direct defiance of the President’s executive order,” Luna wrote.

The post was shared by an individual who noted that things got “heated” as the CIA appeared to be at odds with the US government. Notably, during a Senate Homeland Security Committee hearing on Wednesday, Edelman claimed that the CIA swooped in and took away documents that were due to be declassified under the president’s executive order Donald Trump.

The accusations angered Luna, who published a series of posts targeting the intelligence agency led by John Ratcliffe. “Preserve these documents and turn them over to @DNIGabbard immediately or we will hold you accountable for contempt of Congress @CIA,” Luna wrote. Elsewhere, she additional “Someone in the CIA is actively subverting @CIA executive orders. I encourage you to find out who it is as soon as possible. Punitive action is coming.”

She further said, “Given the nature of the documents in question, we are sending a preservation notice. Given the President’s direction and authority for the DNI to declassify Robert F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King Jr., and JFK, these documents need to be returned to the DNI. Regarding MKULTRA, these are documents specifically requested by my task force and are currently being used in our investigation.”

.Finally, Luna also issued an ultimatum to the CIA, explain “The CIA has 24 hours to return these documents to Tulsi Gabbard’s office or I will file a motion to issue a subpoena. These documents are required by Congress.”
