“I have a very good relationship with President Xi,” Trump reportedly told reporters before boarding Marine One as he left the White House for a trip to China. “We’ve always gotten along very well, we get along very well with China and we work very well with China.”
“I think because of our extensive relationship with China, we are two superpowers,” Trump added. “We have a lot to discuss.”
