Pete Davidson berated one attendee after another at the much-anticipated Netflix live event at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. When it was Tony Hinchcliffe’s turn to be laughed at, Davidson brought up Charlie Kirk’s shooting behaviour.

Davidson said: “Tony Hinchcliffe is here looking both like a child molester and like the dolls they give to children to show where he touched them. Tony reminded me of Charlie Kirk in that he definitely had a man pouring down his throat on camera.”

Pete Davidson further hinted that Tony suffered the same fate as Charlie Kirk, saying: “Please kill Tony. Someone fucking kill Tony. Tony, nothing you say tonight is going to hurt my feelings. Me and Kanye had a falling out, so I took a shot from the better gay Nazi.”

Davidson’s comments spark calls for apology from Erica Kirk and children

The backlash surrounding Davidson became one of several controversies that emerged during the Kevin Hart roast.

A viral post accused Davidson of making a “mean” joke involving Charlie Kirk and demanded the comedian apologize to Kirk’s wife, Erica Kirkand their children. “

“Dear Pete @Netflix: You are not funny or relevant. You should get down on your knees and apologize to Erica Kirk and her children,” the post read.

In another X post, a user mentioned Pete Davidson’s own experience losing his parents, and wrote“To make matters worse, he lost his father on 9/11. He understood the pain of growing up without a father, but he was joking that this man’s children will now grow up without a father.”
