White House press secretary Caroline Levitt This weekend, she shared a Mother’s Day photo of her newborn daughter and toddler son enjoying the spotlight. Levitt welcomed daughter Viviana on May 1 and received an unusual congratulatory message from Iran that referenced the ongoing U.S.-Iran war.

Levitt shared a family photo showing her kids cuddling up to her Instagram Stories And is celebrating the “ultimate Mother’s Day.” The mother-of-two shared an adorable photo of herself curled up in bed with daughter Vivi and son Nico. She included the adorable caption: “Snuggling with my kids. It doesn’t get much better than this.”

Recently became a mother of two: Caroline Levitt

Levitt recently shared an adorable selfie with her newborn daughter on Instagram to commemorate the arrival of her second child. “On May 1st, Viviana aka “Vivi” joined our family and our hearts were instantly filled with love,” the mother of two wrote in the photo’s description. Vivi is not her only child. Niko is a toddler son born in July 2024 to Karoline and her spouse Nicholas Riccio.

“When my husband and I found out we were expecting another child, my first thoughts were one of overwhelming gratitude and joy,” the press secretary wrote on Instagram before going on maternity leave.

Levitt added, “My second thought was, how the hell am I going to do this job with a little kid and being pregnant?” Well, 39 weeks later, we did it. “

Iran congratulates Levitt in unusual way

The Iranian Embassy in Armenia released a public message, first offering congratulations but also referring to the February 28 U.S. attack on a school in Minab, Iran.

The note read: “Children are innocent and cute. The 168 children you defended who were murdered by your boss at Minab School were children too. When you kiss your children, think of the mothers of those children.”

The attack came on the first day of U.S. and Israeli military action against Iran. It struck the Shajareh Tayyebeh primary school, located near the military target in Minab. Iranian reports and human rights groups said 150 to 175 people died, many of them children.
