I don’t know who is spreading false information about his health condition.”Her statement came after Cotto suggested Kambli was dealing with serious health issues.Cotto said: “Cambri has had blood clots in his brain since he was hospitalized in Sein about 18 months ago. He has a bad memory. He remembers things and then forgets them. It’s all because of the blood clots in his brain.”
“Kambli has given up drinking, but he smokes from time to time. According to Dr Aadil Chagla (a renowned neurosurgeon) who has been supervising Kambli’s treatment, smoking is completely forbidden for him as it puts him at risk of stroke,” he added.“He (Kambli) seems to be in good health. He and his family are in good spirits. Kambli now walks with a stick. His son (Cristiano) wants to become a cricketer. I requested Jatin Paranjape to admit him to the cricket academy and he immediately agreed. Of course, Jatin will not charge any fee from Kambli’s son,” he said.
