Should national security threats take precedence over political discourse?

The statement comes after tensions between India and Pakistan have increased in recent months, with both sides issuing strong warnings. Asif had earlier described Pakistan’s response to any Indian action as “swift, targeted and decisive” in response to India’s stance on cross-border threats.India has maintained that it will resolutely deal with any cross-border threats while reiterating that it does not distinguish between terrorist groups and those who support them.(Inputs from PTI)
