Stroop’s sister Marleigh Bailey launched to fund me For her.
“It is with deep sadness that my sister Isabella Stroup passed away suddenly today at the age of 19,” Bailey wrote. “Our family was completely unprepared for this loss. We never thought we would be faced with such heartbreaking circumstances, and now we are trying to find the resources to give her the farewell she deserved. The loss of Isabella has left a huge hole in our lives, and we are seeking help to pay for her funeral and memorial service.”
“I loved Isabella dearly. She was a total nerd and was always reading and sharing her favorite stories with me. She loved fan fiction and My Little Pony and her creativity brought so much joy to our family. Remembering her passion for books and the joy she brought to those around her makes this loss that much harder,” she added, calling for funds to be raised “to give Isabella a proper farewell”.
Bailey posted on Facebook that as she was preparing to attend her uncle’s funeral, her mother called to tell her Isabella had died.
“Before I could even fully process this loss, we were already having to make funeral arrangements. This was all so sudden and none of us were prepared for it. We ask for your prayers as my family and I work through this terrible loss. I love my sister and I will never forget that. I’m so glad the last thing I told her was that I loved her. Thank you for all your kind messages. We love her so much,” Bailey wrote.
Bailey said in another post that the media had been referring to her sister as a “19-year-old female” and even misspelled her name.
“I want to come here and speak for all the people who don’t understand. Isabella was murdered. That’s known. The rest we can’t really say. She was taken by another man. I know she is safe now and there is no more pain where she is. There is no pain,” she wrote.
“In the news, her name was even misspelled and she was referred to as a 19-year-old woman. But that’s not her. She was Bella. She was a sister, a daughter, a granddaughter, a niece, a friend, and so much more. She was important. I long to one day talk to her again, but until then I will never stop telling people that she is loved. She will be remembered,” Bailey added.
Meanwhile, Stroup’s mother, Emily Stroup, told WCCB the family is living a nightmare.
“I just don’t understand. How could you do this to someone?” Emily asked.
“It’s like a nightmare that keeps getting worse and worse and every day there’s a new, fresh hell waiting for me,” she added.
Hamilton was arrested on Tuesday, May 5, on charges of first-degree murder and rape in connection with the case. He was transported to the Law Enforcement Center (LEC) to be interviewed by homicide detectives and later transferred to the custody of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office.

Before Jessica Watson became one of the world’s most recognized teenage sailors, her dreams were nearly dashed at sea. On the first night of sea trials before her historic voyage officially began, her 34-foot yacht Ella’s Pink Lady collided with a large 63,000-ton bulk carrier, National Geographic reported. The impact destroyed the yacht’s mast, causing serious damage to the vessel. Many believe the accident proves what critics have been saying for months, that the young Australian is inexperienced and too young to attempt such a dangerous challenge. Questions have also been raised about her parents and the growing trend of teenage sailors attempting world records. Instead of walking away, however, Watson quietly repaired her yacht and prepared to set sail again. What happened next quickly became one of the most talked about seafaring stories in modern history.
Jessica Watson suffers horrific car crash before journey begins
The collision of Ella and Pink comes before Watson officially begins her solo journey around the world. This sea trial was intended to prepare her for the difficult conditions she would face during the voyage. Instead, the night quickly turned into a nightmare. The large bulk carrier towered over the tiny pink yacht and crashed causing severe damage. Reports at the time said the yacht’s mast had been destroyed, and many believed the expedition should have been canceled immediately. Critics say the accident exposed the dangers of allowing a 16-year-old to attempt a solo circumnavigation.By then, the public debate surrounding Watson had become heated. Some sailing experts question whether someone so young can mentally endure months of complete isolation at sea. Others worry about unpredictable weather conditions and the physical exhaustion of sailing alone for long periods of time.Rather than respond emotionally to criticism, she returned to port and focused on repairing the damaged yacht. In later reflection, she admitted that surviving the accident actually boosted her confidence. She wrote that after the collision, any doubts about her ability to cope mentally seemed to disappear. The experience reportedly made her stronger and more determined to complete the journey.
How Jessica Watson prepared for months alone at sea
When Watson finally left Sydney in October 2009, the challenges ahead looked daunting. She plans to travel around the world by herself, nonstop, and unassisted before she turns 17. This means there will be no stops in port for help throughout the voyage and no outside assistance. Her route will ultimately cross four oceans and pass through some of the harshest waters on Earth. The Southern Ocean alone is known for its violent storms, freezing temperatures and huge waves that even experienced sailors must treat with caution. For many observers, it is difficult to imagine a teenager facing these situations completely alone. However, Watson spent much of his childhood surrounded by boats and sailing culture. She reportedly grew up on a sailboat and appears to be far more poised than many might imagine. While on the road, she kept in touch with the public through blog updates and satellite communications, quickly attracting a large following. Her blog posts often describe the realities of life at sea, including rough weather, loneliness, equipment problems, and moments of quiet beauty in the middle of the ocean. Watson once joked that she could write a story about a fly landing on Ella’s Pink Lady and someone would still find it funny. The comment reflects how closely people are following her progress.Hundreds of supportive comments reportedly appeared underneath many of her posts, with strangers from around the world encouraging her to keep going.
Jessica Watson makes emotional comeback after 210 days alone at sea
After spending 210 days alone at sea, Watson finally returned to Sydney Harbor on May 15, 2010. Her arrival quickly became one of Australia’s most exciting public moments of the year.Tens of thousands of people gathered around the port to welcome her home, with millions watching the event on live television. The sight of the smiling 16-year-old sailing into Sydney on her bright pink yacht left an unforgettable impression on many Australians. Many supporters had genuine concerns for her safety during the voyage, especially when she was caught in a violent storm in a remote part of the ocean. Her safe return feels like a happy ending to a story that people have been emotionally following for months.Watson became the youngest person to circumnavigate the globe alone, non-stop, and unassisted. Even so, the achievement still sparked controversy. Some critics argued that her route did not penetrate far enough into the northern hemisphere to meet certain traditional navigational standards. The debate raged on for some time, but to most people watching her return, the technical arguments seemed far less important than the scale of what she had accomplished.
How Jessica Watson Quietly Proved Her Critics Wrong
Years later, Jessica Watson remains an inspirational figure to many people around the world. Her story is more than just a sailing record or an extreme adventure. It’s also about resilience, discipline and dealing with public skepticism at an early age.One of the reasons her journey still resonates today is the way she handled criticism throughout the process. She seems to have little interest in publicly arguing with her critics. Instead, she focused almost entirely on the voyage itself.
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday accused the first Prime Minister of Jawaharlal Nehru “Putting appeasement ahead of national pride”, claiming he was “opposed” to the restoration of somnath temple. Prime Minister said in Somnath Amrit Mahotsav speech congress Thanks to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Dr. Rajendra Prasad for their contribution in the restoration of temples in Gujarat.“After our independence, one of the first priorities was to restore the Somnath temple. That is why Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Dr. Rajendra Prasad devoted so much effort to this cause. However, we all know the level of opposition he had to face from Nehruji. It was Sardar Sahab’s willpower that despite facing such fierce opposition, he remained unwavering in his determination to resolve Somnath,” he said.“As a result, the temple was rebuilt and the country washed away the shame that lasted for centuries. Unfortunately, there are still forces active in our country today who prioritize appeasement over national self-respect,” he added. He went on to slam the Congress for opposing the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya.“We have seen this during the construction of Ram temple as well. We have seen that even the construction of Ram temple is facing opposition. We have to be wary of this mentality. We have to combine development and heritage and move forward,” he said.Somnath Amrit Mahotsav commemorates the 75th anniversary of the inauguration of the restored Somnath Temple by Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India. earlier that day, Prime Minister Modi Roadshows were held. The event attracted large numbers of supporters who lined the route to greet the Prime Minister, with authorities deploying extensive security measures at key locations across the city.
Modern life is unpredictable, especially if you have a large social circle. One week you’re hosting a dinner party that includes batches of sangria and homemade ice cream, the next you’re preparing some holiday festivities and stocking the freezer with batches of dried fruit ladoos. Standard refrigerators often force you to choose a side, and they give you a fixed amount of freezer space, which can sometimes be extremely limiting. This is where convertible refrigerators come in.

a retired FBI The analyzer claims Nancy Guthrie’s The kidnapper likely made a mistake that “directly led to his arrest.” Jim ClementHe, who has worked for the bureau for 22 years, said the masked man captured on surveillance video, known as “Porch Man,” was “not a sophisticated criminal.”
This image provided by the FBI shows surveillance footage from Nancy Guthrie’s home on the night she disappeared in Tucson, Arizona. (FBI via AP) (AP)
The man is described as being of above average height and build. He was carrying a black Ozark Trail backpack, long-sleeved clothing, gloves and a ski mask. His identity remains unknown.
Clement told Fox News Digital that the video is full of clues.
‘He is not a sophisticated criminal’
Clement said the suspect is believed to have scouted the location before the kidnapping, but he still used leaves to obscure the Nest camera lens and possibly lost facial hair through the ski mask.
“In doing so, I believe he exposed what appeared to be a tattoo on his wrist that would not have been exposed had he been fully prepared for that camera,” he said. “So what that tells me is that he’s not a sophisticated criminal. He was a little bit clumsy in this matter and he made other mistakes that I believe will directly lead to his arrest.”
Investigators have preserved important details about the home’s interior. However, some details have been leaked, and they paint a story, Clement said.
“I believe that means he threatened her with a gun while he was at her bedside,” he said. “He told her to come down and get to the front door and she realized he was taking me, it was very dangerous and I should fight. She did.”
The doorbell video does not show Nancy being taken away. When deputies arrived the next morning, the camera was missing. Clement said the kidnappers were probably shocked that authorities were still able to recover the video.
“Because of all the mistakes this man made, because of his incompetence and unprofessional behavior in this area, I believe he was exhibiting a lot of stress when the images were first released,” Clement said. “Anyone around him should have noticed this change in behavior and possibly recognized him for it.”
Unidentified hair samples were also recovered from the home. The Sheriff’s Department initially sent it to a private laboratory in Florida, which sent it to the FBI 11 weeks later for more advanced analysis.
“If it was a hair from the offender, that would identify him,” Clement said. “They would have his name.”
Currently, the total reward for information that successfully solves the case exceeds $1.2 million.

John was one of those people.”Another user wrote“One story that says so much – the importance of libraries, how reading can save a soul, valuing community and everyone in it, and why we have homeless people in the sixth richest country,” the person wrote.“We are a shameful little island.”
NEW DELHI: Opposition parties upped the ante on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday as he urged citizens to reduce fuel and cooking oil consumption amid the ongoing West Asian crisis, claiming fuel prices would rise after the parliamentary elections.Earlier, Prime Minister Modi urged people to reduce their use of cooking oil, adopt public transport, ride-sharing and electric vehicles, and switch to natural farming methods to reduce dependence on imports and save foreign exchange.

Rahul Gandhi calls PM Modi’s austerity call ‘evidence of failure’, Congress seeks answers
Calling it a form of “economic self-defence”, Prime Minister Modi said patriotism today means responsible living and prudent consumption in the face of disruptions to global supply chains and rising fuel prices caused by conflicts in West Asia.who said whatRahul GandhiLeader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi said in a social media post on X that Prime Minister Modi’s call exposed the limitations of his ten-year tenure.“Yesterday, Modi asked the public to make sacrifices – don’t buy gold, don’t go abroad, use less petrol, use less fertilizers and cooking oil, ride the metro, work from home. These are not sermons – they are proof of failure,” Rahul Gandhi said. Also read: PM Modi pushes to reduce fuel use, gold purchases, support working from home“For 12 years he has brought the country to a position where the public must now be told what to buy, what not to buy, where to go and where not to go. Each time, they put the blame on the people so they can escape responsibility themselves. Running the country is no longer the purview of a compromised prime minister,” he added.‘Til the elections, Modi will bear your burden’Reacting to PM Modi’s remarks, AAP MP Sanjay Singh claimed that common people are being asked to take responsibility in the name of patriotism.“Dear countrymen, before the elections, Modi carried your burden; once the elections are over, your function is complete. Now, in the name of patriotism, get in line. Natural gas has become expensive; now gasoline and diesel will become more expensive as well. In the name of patriotism, one must stop using petrol, diesel, gas; do not buy gold; do not even use cooking oil,” Singh said.He further accused the government of double standards and criticized the prime minister’s public events and foreign visits.“But Modi will lead hundreds of thousands of people to attend his rallies in droves, travel abroad, burn huge amounts of fuel; his people will not only buy gold, they will snap up the wealth of the entire country, but you continue to play dumb. Yes, if you cannot stand Modi’s inflation, blind believers and stooge media will declare you a Pakistani,” the AAP leader added.Akhilesh YadavMeanwhile, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav claimed that the BJP government has failed in handling both the economy and foreign policy, calling its appeal an “admission of failure”.Akhilesh said in a post on X: “As soon as the elections were over, the government suddenly remembered the ‘crisis’. In fact, there is only one crisis in this country and its name is the BJP. “The former Uttar Pradesh chief minister questioned how the country will achieve its goal of becoming a “$5 trillion economy” if the government is forced to impose multiple restrictions.“With so many restrictions in place, how will the much-vaunted ‘five trillion dollar economy’ become a reality? It seems the BJP government has completely lost control,” he said.Yadav claimed that the rupee has depreciated significantly against the US dollar and alleged that the economic management of the BJP government has collapsed.“The dollar is appreciating and the Indian rupee is falling further,” he said.He also blamed the Centre’s foreign policy for the current economic situation, claiming that the BJP government has abandoned India’s traditional non-aligned approach.“The real reason behind these situations is that the BJP government abandoned the country’s traditional non-alignment policy and aligned with certain groups due to specific pressures and interests,” he said.BJP strikes backThe BJP has rebutted Rahul Gandhi, claiming that Congress politics is still limited to power rather than nation-building.Amit Malviya, head of the IT unit of the BJP, posted on X that Modi was not asking people to make sacrifices, but urged them to make conscious choices in the interest of the country, such as conserving energy, promoting local products, retaining foreign exchange and increasing self-reliance.“But that’s the problem with Congress. Any call for public participation in the national interest sounds like ‘preaching’ to them because their politics are still limited to power, not nation-building,” he said.Talking about the impact of conflicts in West Asia, Malviya said every global crisis affects the entire world and quoted India’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru to counter Gandhi’s attack.“If calling on the public to fulfill their responsibilities is considered a ‘failure’, was your beloved Nehru also a ‘compromising prime minister’?” he asked.“Nehru himself said that when war breaks out in other countries, India also feels the impact of the war in the form of inflation. Was this also an ‘excuse’, or was this considered responsible leadership at the time? Malvia said.He also shared an old video purportedly of Nehru, in which the former prime minister can be heard saying that when countries like South Korea or the United States go to war, the country will be affected. He added that responsible leadership tells people the truth and calls for collective participation in addressing challenges.

Passenger traffic at London’s Heathrow Airport fell sharply in April as the ongoing conflict with Iran disrupted global aviation networks.Britain’s busiest airport said some 6.7 million passengers passed through its terminals this month, down 5% from the same period last year, Reuters reported.Traffic related to the Middle East has been hardest hit, down more than 50%, as airlines grapple with airspace closures, cancellations and longer routes during the regional crisis. Heathrow said the drop reflected “short-term adjustments to travel plans” caused by geopolitical tensions.
Transit traffic increases as flyers reroute via London
Despite the overall slowdown, the number of connecting passengers at Heathrow increased by 10%, with many passengers diverted to London to connect to Asia and Oceania. The airport has benefited from passengers avoiding major Gulf transport hubs such as Dubai and Doha due to disruption in the area.Airport officials noted that while the conflict continues to impact international aviation, Heathrow has absorbed some displaced travel demand.
Fuel crisis worries add to pressure on airlines
The conflict also heightened concerns about aviation fuel supplies due to disruptions to tanker traffic in the Strait of Hormuz, a key global oil shipping route.Jet fuel prices have nearly doubled from last year’s levels, according to industry data, raising concerns about higher ticket prices and possible fuel shortages during the peak summer season.Last week, British Airways parent IAG said it may try to offset sharp rises in fuel costs through higher fares and other cost management measures. Meanwhile, some airlines are reportedly cutting fares on some European summer routes to avoid a drop in bookings.
Heathrow Airport to review 2026 forecasts
Heathrow chief executive Thomas Woldbye described the situation as “short-term disruption” and insisted underlying travel demand remained strong despite the volatility. He added that April remains Heathrow’s busiest month so far this year. However, the airport said it would reassess and update passenger forecasts for 2026 next month as conflict and uncertainty about the global travel outlook persist.
