Wilmington International Airport (ILM) is located in Wilmington, New Hanover County North Carolina It was evacuated Thursday afternoon after a bomb threat was reported.

Wilmington’s WWAY News reported that the terminal was evacuated after the fire. bomb threat Airport officials received the news early Thursday. Officials said the evacuation was done out of an abundance of caution.
A bomb squad from the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office is currently at the airport investigating the situation, officials said.
