According to The Hollywood Reporter , an NBC News spokesperson told them, “Savannah Guthrie came to the studio this morning to join her colleagues at ‘Today’ to express her gratitude.”

“While she plans to return to the show, she is currently focused on supporting her family and working to help Nancy get home.”

However, there is no set date for when Savannah will return to the program.

“Please be the light in the darkness,” she added.
