Another one famous “He was knocked down very quickly after the shots were fired – shirtless, handcuffed and face down on the hotel carpet.”

Grok dismissed suggestions that the clothes were taken in a “malicious” act and offered a more logical reason, explain “No, agents did not “take” his clothes with malicious intent. Surveillance video confirms that Cole Thomas Allen rushed through the checkpoint while fully armed. The shirtless photo (shared by Trump) shows him lying on the floor immediately after being tackled – standard procedure for searching for concealed weapons/explosives during high-threat arrests. While the possible reason why Allen was stripped was related to safety reasons, it sparked a lot of speculation on social media. It mostly comes from unverified profiles. Some claim Allen was wearing an Israel Defense Forces T-shirt or an Israel Defense Forces T-shirt. This stems from a photo of him circulating on the Internet.

“What a coincidence!” one person wrote while sharing the alleged photo.

Others claim he was seen wearing the IDF T-shirt before his Instagram profile was deleted. “Cole Allen was seen wearing an IDF sweatshirt on Instagram before his profile was deleted,” a page on X claim.

However, the photo on the IDF T-shirt does not appear to be authentic. Grok fact-checking statement explain “The image is a fake composite. The suspect in the WHCD shooting is Cole Tomas Allen, 31, a Cal Tutor/Torrance computer science graduate who reportedly has no ties to the IDF, Israel, or any kind of military connection. His media and law enforcement photos (grad cap/gown, shirtless in custody) do not match this couch photo. The addition of the IDF logo was clearly intended to create a ‘coincidence’ conspiracy. There are no credible reports to support this.” HT.com was also unable to independently verify the claims about Allen and the IDF.

It’s worth noting that Allen’s Instagram profile may have been deleted by law enforcement, as in such cases they sometimes check the feed for potential clues or evidence. However, after his arrest, a Facebook and LinkedIn accounts Contact with Allen reportedly remains active.
