President Lula da Silva Brazil met with Donald Trump at the White House on Thursday to ease trade tensions between the two countries. However, as is customary for world leaders, he skipped the press conference after meeting the US president.

Since Lula did not attend the joint news conference, White House personnel shared photos of Brazilian media leaving the White House. Part of the MAGA family fueled speculation that Lula did not attend the press conference because the meeting with Trump turned “explosive.”

“President Trump must have destroyed Lula of the left behind closed doors,” said popular far-right commentator Nick Sortor, who also shared a video of a Brazilian journalist leaving the White House.
