Who took the bottle in the WHCD shooting? Fact-checking Olga Stefanishyna’s claims that many point to Ukrainian diplomats

Despite the claims about the Ukrainian diplomat, there is no indication that she was the one who took the bottles. Given the early nature of the shooting, it was reported that a large number of bottles were left unfinished when guests began to leave.

In fact, Stefanishna attended the event wearing a silver dress and shared the photo on Facebook.
“President Trump of the United States was assassinated. The President of the United States and the First Lady are okay. Fortunately the Ukrainians were around. The gunman was injured while trying to break into the room,” a translation of her post read.
Notably, Cole Thomas Allen was arrested in connection with the shooting and, in addition to facing firearms charges, was also accused of trying to assassinate the president.
